Our cinemagraph feature lets event guests create stunning and impactful cinemagraphs, or photos featuring subtle movement. Our StoryStudio gives your event guests the chance to take a photo right at the event and have their portrait turned into an immersive experience, in real time.
Here’s a sampling of some of the custom cinemagraph event content we’ve created.
Artsy x Douglas Coupland DeRecognizer
Artsy, together with artist Douglas Coupland, wanted to create digital content for visitors to share out from the event. We created a derecognizer effect for exhibit guests to take a portrait at the Artsy exhibit at The Armory Show that blended Coupland’s past work with the today’s increasing digital art world. Using the Artsy derecognizer at The Armory Show, guests could take a portrait using the FoxTales StoryStudio and have a randomized sequence of multicolored shapes overlaid on top of the user’s portrait creating a unique piece of digital art for guests to share from the interactive art installation. For more information about Douglas Coupland visit his artist page on Artsy.
New York Mets x Drive Toyota Mr. Met Experience
To help the New York Mets and Toyota showcase their partnership, the we created an in-car cinemagraph experience with Saatchi & Saatchi for Mets fans at Citi Field. As Mets fans toured and experienced the new Toyota RAV4, they were able to take a photo with a GoPro HERO4 mounted in a car. In each Met’s fan Toyota RAV4 photo was a cinemagraph-animated Mets mascot, Mr. Met popping out of the SUV’s backseat, creating a fun souvenir for Mets fans to remember their Citi Field experience.
The BFG World Premiere
We created a special cinemagraph for users to visit Giant Country for the premiere of Disney’s animated film, The BFG. As a part of the premiere for Disney’s The BFG, we created an overlay that saw the Big Friendly Giant himself pop into premiere guest’s photos and kindly greeting them to Giant Country.
Finding Dory World Premiere
The Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory World Premiere in Hollywood called for a photo experience as unique as the under-the-sea themed event. We created four different cinemagraph experiences for premiere guests to choose from. Each Finding Dory cinemagraph featured different sea creatures from the animated film swimming around users in their photo.
NFL Draft Town
At the 2016 NFL Draft in Chicago, we created a cinemagraph experience that let fans see themselves running out on to Soldier Field. For the experience, fans took a portrait photo in front of a Soldier Field backdrop. Our StoryStudio platform then overlaid a slow moving smoke cinemagraph over each user’s image to create immersive content for Bears and football fans to enjoy.
VRScout Art Show
At VRScout’s Virtual Reality Art Show, we created a custom cinemagraph overlay. We animated the VRScout logo for a subtle effect over the still black and white image. The animated logo helped bring attention to the VRScout logo in an interesting and exciting way.
