Sports fans are passionate which means that sports venues are the perfect location to create compelling visual experiences. Tickets.com’s ProVenue Exchange is an annual gathering of ticketing experts, marketers, technologists and partners to share and collaborate on the newest innovations in event experiences and we were thrilled to be invited down to showcase and evangelize about the value of visual experiences as a fan engagement tool.
Our CEO Josh Hubberman, along with Microsoft’s Anthony Morgante, was asked to lead a breakout session at PVEX17 around leveraging the power of visual experiences as a fan engagement strategy. The session covered both the emotional power of these immersive experiences, tips and tricks for creating compelling designs and a deep dive on utilizing them as a tool to collect valuable fan insights through our Azure-backed CMS.
For PVEX’s Tech Showcase, we allowed attendees to show off their favorite colors and rep their company through a dynamic text integration to show off how our platform can deliver immersive fan experiences and audience data to prove ROI.
Finally, we joined fellow golfers at the Vinoy Country Club for a round of golf and showed off the diversity in possibilities by capturing 30 frame burst animations of each golfer’s swing from the middle of the fairway using a Canon 1DX and 400mm lens. The content inspired enough confidence and joy that we also took home the tournament win! Looking forward to doing it again next year!
