As one of the largest music festivals in the North America, Bumbershoot attracts numerous music and arts enthusiasts to the Seattle Center each Labor Day weekend. Wanting to offer their consumers a memorable Bumbershoot experience, Verizon asked us to craft a visual experience to capture guests at the music festival and allow them to create their own concert content.
We created an experience based off of the Bumbershoot promo poster to engage the visitors in the Verizon tent and offer them a digital souvenir from the festival. We adapted the event poster to an overlay for the festivalgoers’ BurstGifs with a custom animation of the festival logo and the Seattle skyline. Each GIF bounced with excitement as the Bumbershoot guests danced along to the tunes flowing through the festival grounds.
As guests checked in to the experience, they could enter to win signed Seahawks memorabilia or even a new LG G6 smartphone, using our TaleTracker platform to compile the contest entries.
